Why Celtic music?
Celtic music (particularly Irish and Scottish music)
is an integral part of New Zealand's cultural heritage.
Of New Zealanders with European lineage, around 20%
claim Irish ancestors and a similar number claim Scottish
ancestry. However, the music that came with these immigrants
is no longer common in New Zealand. Those who try and
learn it often find that they are not near any tuition
or that they do not know where to start. You can find
more basic information about Celtic music on the resources
page.
Listings
If you would like to be listed on this site please contact

listings, this facilitates the growth and ongoing promotion
for this website. Advertising space is also available on each page.
